Hiro and Baymax Big Hero 6 Action Figures

The main hero of Big Hero 6 is Hiro. Cute, right off the bat. He’s a 14-year-old prodigy in the making of robots, called a robotistic. His sidekick is the inflatable robot Baymax. Now comes some fun. Baymax is a care-giver in every sense of the term. He only wants to help people and takes it as his personal mission to care for Hiro.

Voiced by young actor Ryan Potter, Hiro takes every negative of a pre-teen boy and turns them into delightful positives. Hiro is truly a hero. Then tack in the voice of Scott Adsit, best known for his role in the TV series 30 Rock, as Baymax and you have a pair of unlikely superheros with a heart.

Get ready for some of the most charming superheros ever presented in animation and on film.

Honey, Go Go, Wasabi and Fred, Super Heros

Hiro’s older brother, and robotics mentor, introduces him to Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi and Fred, aka Fredzilla. This team of wacky teenagers from the San Fransyokyo Institute of Technology capture Hiro’s interest. Together, the six superheros fight off the criminal plot and solve the mystery.

Big Hero 6 Marvel Comics

The original story line for Big Hero 6 comes from a Marvel Comic series. In 2009, Disney bought the comic book company and in 2011, director Don Hall successfully pitched the idea to Pixars studio head John Lasseter.

Most people wouldn’t recognize Big Hero 6. The comic book series was not greatly successful in it’s own right. But at the hands of the Disney Pixar team, the story comes to life. When you see the movie, keep a watch for little extras from Wreck It Ralph and Frozen. That team has a fun sense of humor.

Love the idea of the Pixar team working in references to Wreck It, Ralph and Frozen! Adds another dimension. Looking forward to seeing it now and looking for those and possibly other hidden gems.
